Canada :

Greetings to the selection council for the Chair on Aboriginal Economic Development.

It is with great honour and pride, and memory of my Grandmother that causes me to write to you.
My Grandmother gave me messages to carry and I try to do so in a humble way.  She said " We have wisdom and what is needed is to use this wisdom for all the peoples".  As I write this and review my
resume, I know my Grandmother would be proud that I am doing the best I can to "Melt the Ice in the Heart of Man".

I know too that the Chair position at this prestigious University can do  great good for all the people.  I am also honoured to stand with my friend Mitch Gold who stands with me as a brother in Spirit.
Without resources we have already instigated a plan for achieving Aboriginal Economic  Development through out the world.

Working together we will do our best to materialize the Development of the Indigenous Peoples in Canada recognizing that there are many obstacles to our activities.  Historically Universities have not
exactly been the proving ground for what needs to be done, but I do know that there is the will to achieve dramatic change in a good way.

We need to know that the position of  Chair in Aboriginal Economic Development cannot be done in isolation.  It is not just about the Aboriginal - it is about all people and what better place to start
than at a University named after a Queen.

As mention of the Queen Honours the historic past of England,  our challenge is to honour all of the grandfathers and grandmothers.

Do we address how we reorganize the DIA at this early stage?  This will be a fundamental challenge to our position as Chair and we look forward to the University honouring its mission by allowing us to
actualize the vision that we bring to the University.

Mitchell Gold and I, working together will do incredible things, if we are allowed to co-operate at this level of participation in the systems of Canadian Governance - to the benefit of not only Canada ,
but to the rest of the world.

All my relations.
