PEACEMAKER 101 WEEKEND WORKSHOP

Guided by MITCHELL GOLD (see Homeplanet.org, for resume and more). Mitchell has followed the path of the Peacemaker story since first experiencing the story himself in 1996. Traveling first on a thousand day voyage meeting traditional elders around the world and now sharing the story with others in a new way. Integrating the old and the new. Mitchell is a former Chartered Accountant and owner of a million dollar business with 30 employees. This is NOT about his story.
It is about the transformational Power of the Peacemaker's Story taken from Jean Houston's book, 'Manual for the Peacemaker, (An Iroquois Legend to Heal Self and Society.) Jean Houston is a leader in the field of Social Artistry.
"if we are to change the world, we must first change ourselves."
The weekend is designed to "provide rich experiences embracing sacred psychology, music, theater, philosophy, theology, poetry, high and low comedy, new science, cosmology, metaphysics and innovative ideas to provide a multi-faceted multi--level time-out-of-time" experience. It is learning to experience the truth of our personal medicine as well as community and global medicine. Re-visioning the world and devoting ourselves to the task of sacred stewardship on behalf of our world. Woven into this story are the compelling concepts of Jump Time from one of Jean's later books, and the Possible Human from one of her earlier works.

The Manual for the Peacemaker "enables a group of people to experience together the transformational power of one of the greatest stories ever told."

DETAILS
Introductory evening:
Sunday August 17th 7-10PM ($30.00) Applicable towards weekend if attending all 3 days. You will get an overview of what the workshop is about, And get preparatory information that will assist you in maximizing the Workshop Experience. You will also get a list of materials to bring with you to the Workshop. It is recommended that you read the book Manual for the Peacemaker in advance of the workshop. We will be ordering some to have here for you.
Workshop Opening intro: Friday August 22, 7-11PM
Saturday and Sunday August 23-24th, 10AM-7PM ($195.00) Register in advance get 10% discount. Couples receive additional 10% discount. Further discounts negotiable with Jean Houston students.
