Tuesday March 24^th Received a call from Graham Mules at the Surf Lodge. He was canceling our booking of the Lodge for the workshop that I was putting on. He forgot about a wedding party that had already booked. As there was only one booking from our seminar he did not feel too bad about canceling. He was not aware of the other people coming and the real inconvenience he was creating in my life. He offered an alternative room and opportunity, but it was not acceptable. I was a bit upset after I saw the cabin that was being offered as an alternative, but I did some exercises and got over it pretty quickly. As luck would have it, Will Gooseman wanted me to meet his partner/boss Craig Larson over at his home. I went over there and after some lengthy conversations about business, and who I was and what I was doing. We did an information exchange and it seems there are a number of connection points for Craig and I . He is a dive Master and used to have an operation in Jamaica. He shared some interesting stories about the business and the big hurricane that wiped every body out down there. He was also involved in Real Estate in Toronto back in the mid eighties. He took a big beating in 1987 with every body else. Some time later he got lucky with a CD-ROM product and K-Mart - I think he is doing really well with this connection. We introduced the "wampum" idea to him to try on his friend Harvey back in Toronto. After some time talking I asked about the house at the entrance to the property for the workshop. It was available. I went and checked it out. It was perfect!. I went back to the house, and Craig agreed to accept the same deal that I had at the Surf Lodge. This saved the day. I also talked with Craig about his business and there may be several ways we can work together in the future.
