Tuesday November 4th Vancouver - Learning Institute

The trip to Vancouver took about an hour and a half. Boarding a bus in Nanaimo, I was in downtan Vancouver in short order and looking at how to get to my two c'clock meeting with Des Berghofer. It seems like a lot of work to just attend a one hour and one half meeting, but after reading some information about Des while I waited, I knes I would not be disappointed. In fact looking back at what I have learned about Des and Gerri Schwartz since our meeting it is clear that we are meant to work together. It is merely a matter of determining how. Des gave me his book the Visioneers, which in a sense, although I have not completed it yet, it seems that I am living the model of his book. I can report more after finsihing the book.

I did however achieve my primary objective, and that was to obtain the e-mail address of Robert Muller in order that I may approach him to participate in our presentation - (Ole Bay's) I arrived back at Cathy's apartment and had an opportunity to meet Cathys neighbour Ida who has the keys to her apartment for me. I then went down to the apartment and made some calls to organize my remaining time in Vancouver. While waiting for some calls to be returned I had time to review the video given to me by Seymour Trieger on Thinking Like a Forest. This video was an extesion of the booklet that was written on Merv's work by Ruth Loomis. The book and the video are equally good at communicating the value of sustainable tree farming.

Catching the Direct One offices( the Toshiba representaive company in Vancouver), I hurried over to leave my computer for repairs - hoping that nothing would be lost. Arrived just before closing and was told that we could probably have it together by Friday. I was told that I had to bring tomorrow the cord attachment as they did not have one on the premises. I said I would have it there first thing in the morning.

Went back to the apartment and got in touch with Balu of theorn Knowledge Enterprises - We went to dinner and discussed various ideas of how to work together. I am not clear if he sees it the way I want him to see it, but that is not important yet as he sees that he can have another product to market. My prefereence would be that he sees how our program becomes a lens for his other programs and in their drafting, the language of our program is utilized in the existing program. I explained that the idea is in the Conspiracy booklet, although I must admit, I wonder how clear it is there. Hopefully minds can understand it if they choose to. Got home to bed early and fell off to a deep sleep.
