Sunday October 12 Off to Nanaimo, The ferry ride and arrival on Gabriola Island,

Cathy drove me down to Horseshoe Bay. Ferry ride to Nanaimo -misty rainy, but quite beautiful.

Did some writing on the Ferry and arrived in Nanaimo expecting to wait for Terry Lynn. Well, Terry Lynn was on time! We drove to the Ferry just around the bay and soon enough we were on Gabriola Island. Shopping was fun and we ran into some ten year residents of Gabriola Eva and Ole Bay who invited us to visit with them in the future. We said we will drop by. Back at Terry Lynn's her home is quite a nice setting and a very comfortable space. I unpacked, and tried to get my internet connection working - no luck! Brandon Terry Lynn's six year old arrived from visiting with his friend Cody. We got along fine, and had a wonderful dinner.

Off to bed thinking about how to find an internet provider to help out on this island called Gabriola.
