Sunday the 28th

Began with an early morning breakfast with Justine and she took us over to

meet with Zena, a Yoga Master and founder of Dakini Yoga. We were with her

for a number of hours and had a variety of moving experiences including

learning about her project in India, the dance that she teaches, an

interview, and a healing ceremony with blessings.

We left there to go over to Maria's house and arrived at three thirty only

to find out that Maria's house required two keys to allow us entry and we

only had one. We called Justine and informed her of our misfortune and

arranged to meet her back at her house. We arrived about an hour early,

and as we experienced a time lag, I stopped people on the street and "got

the conversation going". We met Sasha and his girl friend from New

Brunswick. He is working the night shift for the pipe company and intends

to make his home here in Alberta. His girlfriend is cooking potatoes to

help make ends meet. They seemed to be li9ving the Canadian dream and I

hope that they will stay in touch and let us know if he gets his gig on the

big oil rigs as is his plan. We also met Trevor and Fred from

Saskatchewan. Trevor works with disturbed children and Fred works in the

"automation" department at a water facility construction plant. He parred

three holes to-day - one was a par five 500 yarder. He was on in two and

three putted. He set his goal to par nine holes. We had a good chat and

likely will connect again in the future. Shawna from Vancouver Island came

by and she is a student at the university studying education. We talked

with her about our program and asked her to introduce it to her teachers

and report to us on their reactions to our materials. She said she would.

She had a positive story about the Alberta Telephone company that had just

given her free call display for a month. We also met Odette and Kert who

were out for a walk on their first date - a blind date through a dating

service. Odette is an educator with the French Board and we asked her to

consider our homepage for some involvement.

Justine finally showed up and we quickly organised ourselves and went over

to the Sai Baba Center to hear a guest Swami (His Holiness, Revered Shri

Swami Divyananda Saraswati Maharaj) present a discourse on "oneness" (God

is One, Ways are Many). We had a discussion with him after the

presentation and he not only blessed our World Citizenship Challenge, he

invited governments everywhere to support our initiative. (see video)

A group of us went out for dinner, and I came home exhausted and after

inputting today's notes fell off to sleep.
