Executive Summary. Updated November 1, 1999

This Voyage is fashioned after the legendary First Nation Peacemaker. How the Great Peace was brought to the Six Nations. We are in process of bringing the story into the now.

Beginning on Sept 16 1997 I set out on a thousand day journey. This journey is to culminate in Greenwich England at an event that is going to have a number of qualities to it. The qualities will be added as we go along the journey depending upon what happens and whom we meet. This a part of our World Citizenship Challenge .

The purpose of the event in Greenwich is the holding of the IAEWP 10th World Congress. That was the starting idea around which we have built the International Peace City 2000 project first launched at Spliit Croatia in May 1996. This program suggests that communities identify activities that they consider to be activities in a City of Peace. These activities will be shared in some manner at our event. We will also invite Elders form different communities, through either inter- faith communities, - intellectual communities, civil society to use this opportunity to share their peace ideas, with the world. One of the main purposes of this voyage is to bring world mass attention to these matters of importance.

Also as we get attention to our initiative, we want to be flexible enough in our educational program to add to our homeplanet alliance materials - to take additional information, wisdom, and include these wisdoms to our website.

The site reflects some of the early details of the voyage. We have stopped writing daily accounts and have accumulated writings around events , conferences, meetings, activities. Over 150 hours of video have been shot by the 760th day of the voyage. We have done no editing yet. No pictures uploaded yet. No new teachings added to the website yet. But there is much to add.

The 1% Solution. - a global tithing. Using a branding concept we intend to demonstrate the eficacy of our strategy in a test makrket research program.

We have developed the marketing strategy to move the 1% solution forward with a simply. We have a realistic budget and project designed and ready for presentation.

Media Development

During our travels we have noticed how little attention the major media have paid to our activities - and I do not mean ours specifically - I mean the many others that are working through events like the Hague Appeal for Peace, and the more recent Seoul NGO Conference. I also refer to the movement to create a Spiritual Forum at the United Nations. The mass media has basically ignored our collective efforts. We are going to use the Internet to provide the mass communication of our stories.

Plantings of the tree of Peace

In the tradition of the Peacemaker, we continue the process with our tree plantings. We started in Toronto on September 21, 1999 International Peace Day . We then did a small event at the Global Institute of Peace Studies in Korea on October 16, 1999. The next major Tree Planting is in Mexico from January 21 to January 28, 2000.

Peace Messages from elders:

1) the Golden Rule

2) stop feeding the warriors on a physical mental emotional and spiritual level

3) Learn the importance of breath and learn at least one breathing exercise

4) honour the sacred in everything

5) how does my activity serve a "Culture of Peace"? (a question to ask ones self.)
