REPORT on Puerto Penasco  Ceremony of LIVE H20
Bring Love into your voice.   message for the day.

Well, here it is May 26th and I am making a general report on the Live H20 event from the point of view of the Puerto Penasco ceremony..   While I am not living at a preferred standard, I am surviving quite well, tolerating bad air,  unusually high temperatures,  and my body is doing quite well considering the # of trips around the sun.    I have even been able to cut out my Tung Shuen pills.  But there is no squash courts to really test myself.

We began with a large vision – a three day event – connected real time live with 27 other cities in the world   beginning at a sunrise ceremony at Pinacate ( a stretch – 20 miles out of town),  the second day was at the Stadium bringing all the tribes of the area together to share their wares and stories and the Sunday Ceremony at the Malecon  connecting to the world at the appointed hour.    We  envision  a sprinkling of additional ceremonies over the three days. and  Live at the appointed time from the story of The Last One – this is an opportunity to say:  We the People of Earth, of one mind and heart, joining together – open ourselves to the power of love and truth.  This event could be the manifestation of Austin Repath's  story in real time.  (amazing that he wrote it for “the Planetary Initiative for the World We Choose in 1981, over 28 years ago!”)
.
Other activities planned:
a night time music event for the stadium was also on order  - many enriching cultural experiences – both for the people that have been here before,  (the Todohono, the Aztec, the Mayans and others - and the people currently living and visiting here regularly.
Foods, dances, songs, stories – as close to the intention of a Pow wow as you can get.

I have approached most if not all of the groups and have had a very mixed response as to level of interest.  Virtually ALL the indigenous people I speak with are fully supportive. every thing is set with them to bring their people together – to entertain, learn and grow, as well as participate in our awesome ceremony – each in their own way and from their own traditional viewpoint.   I did meet a Quetzacoatl Shaman and he has done three shifts on me so far and I do not know where he is on our activity today.  All others are supportive.

I have been to the Television Station – and done one story – with a view to doing more and likely this will be the case – unfortunately the video of our show was not taped – so we could not use our show for my intended use.  I learned you have to not assume copies are being made of what you are saying.  IN Canada and the US we tend to assume you are being copied and you make certain you control the end use.

As for the people here.  I met with a former Mayor who also is the Director of the Convention and Tourist Association a logical ally.  He agreed we should work together .  He sent me to the fellow who runs the Convention Bureau for him and the community – but we had a communication problem.  It was not  content – but perhaps it was the tone of my voice.  Most certainly he did not have the ears to listen to what I was saying or intending for Puerto Penasco.  TO this day, although a number of times we have left messages – (in person) at his offices, and also communicated over the Internet.  He does not hear the internet either – so it must not be the tone of my voice.  It may be because I am Gringo.  And this is a definite feeling and this is an obstacle to any event planned here.

That is one thing I have learned here .  There is three distinct communities .  The Gringo community,  the Mexican community and  The Indigenous community is in between and sometimes bridges the gap – although most often it is done as charity and not open business.  The groups do not appear to work together although I am told that it is getting better.   The convention Bureau is NOT a willing ally -representing the Mexican Community – ignoring the Indigenous communty – totally from my perspective.

In the Gringo community I have talked with the Owner of the Rocky Point Times, the daughter manager, and the wife of the owner – all active in the production and selling of the Rocky Point Times.  I did have an unexpected and pleasant meeting with the owner at his home – out in the middle of the desert – I happened to be out for a walk one day and happened on his house – and with a  “where am I”  question I learned I was at the home of the owner of the Rocky Point Times.   quite a synchronistic event.  I had the impression that his paper would be a happy participant.  To this day I have heard nothing more from them even having made many trips to their offices – only to get – “I do not have time for you.”.  And no follow ups to my e-mails.    I believe it is the tone of my voice – or the tone of my communication.

Mildly better luck was garnered through my chance meeting with the other TV Channel  team.  We have had a number of conversations, done one interview ( the edited version yet to be seen) and a humble request for $2000 to do anything more beyond videoing the event. I have received mixed messages as to what is happening with the station -sale?  value? etc.
No surprises – every body is in need of money.

The Restaurant Association is supportive but will not take any overt actions.  Individual restaurants will assist in some manner but I need more specifics before I can get activity here. Most helpful has been John McBride at Max's helping me from the very first day I arrived.   His son John a close second and all the people that work at Max's, Jerry's, and the Shark Bite.  .

I attended a meeting of the Realtors association invited by a jr. member. (not good).    I did get a chance to introduce myself – and made arrangements with the President of the Association to follow up with details of our event.   Unfortunately he sees no value in our event – an astounding revelation from a fellow who is a Minister in a Church.  Perhaps he never read the Live H20 documents – either way while he should be the #1 support guy in the community – he is not just neutral on it – he appears to be against it.,  Fundamentalism I think  or PO.  Let's trust in  PO here.

We have met with a number of developers – but at the sales manager level – not owner – and each expressed a mild level of interest but did not broker the meeting with the “decision maker”.  The developers are the ones that should support us.  Just finding the person that “gets it”  - Wayne Campbell at Laguna Shores gets it, but he does not cut the checks.  We have been rejected by Tessoro  - a high end developer.

During these past several weeks we have met on numerous occasions with Antonio Hernandez – a musician – and a totally 110%  supportive guy.  He has many CD's has played at many inter cultural, international events and in a “star” system would certainly be so considered.  Here , he is the local teacher, who plays music all over town at all kinds of events – public and private – and we find time to spend together.   Antonio's music sets the ambiance for downtown Malecon every Saturday and Sunday from 12 – 4 and sometimes into the evening as special events follow the daily routines.   Just walk one day down the street in Malecon on the week-end afternoon – and you will know what I mean.

The school guitarists (20 -35 amateurs)  are ready to play, practicing twice a week  – as soon as we are able to say where and the extent of our event.

So for a long story – we are ready to go.

IN reality no funding has come in place and venues have not been booked as their Convention guy has to say yes.  The stadium manager has said yes.  But we need one more yes.

There is a Fishing Derby here on the 15th of the month – we have requested through two unofficial people that the fishing catch – to be donated to the feeding of the traditional peoples at the stadium – inviting them to cook the food s to share the tastes in their ways for all.  This request has to goo through the Convention and Tourist guy – and he is not onside.

In overview if we rely on what I have learned – we may have a small ceremony each day in a quiet way.  We have been doing small ceremonies each week in the Malecon – both to practice and to let people know what is happening on the 21st.  The vibe will go from here.

We have printed and distributed over 5,000 flyers mentioning the event. Paid for by El Super Burro and Artesanos Games.  The Aztec woman  Juanita is very supportive and keeps my diet in balance feeding me regularly.    She is connected to all the tribes and will see the events take place with the Peoples here.  One could not have a better support person – with her sons and 18 people that she looks after – she now looks after 19.  Even the sons have used their networks to get me translators and brokering the meeting with the stadium Manager.

My meeting with the Todohoo have not been productive yet.  Brenda, my translator for Teodocio Marcial (Hotel Owner) has not brokered the required meeting.  We have traveled to Sonoyta (98kms) only to find her not there. Three meetings aborted.  Probably spent 5 days on this.  We wait.  They have a large interest here.

We  received some coverage in a Spanish newspaper but it was only a photo –  the message to “wake up”  as to why we are in Puerto Penasco. “ Inpean” was the word  introduced to their vocabulary – from the Cree language which was in our welcoming greeting.  The paper has not been approach to support event .   Our lack of Spanish is a big obstacle to getting things accomplished.

CEDO – a government scientific and eduction organization – has been approached through e-mail and others – to no avail.   This agency deals with the Water and ought to be involved with our Research Project we are instigating for the Future Marketing of Puerto Penasco as a Health and Wellness Education Center.

So as we are on the precipice.

I run in to a fellow – not from any of the constituencies here.  Rather from Phoenix – and he was here partying with friends.   After all, Puerto Penasco is Arizona's playground.   If we want to talk about spirit intervening – then we have it here.  I am waiting to be invited by him to meet thirty of his friends in Phoenix that will be interested in connecting a recently passed friends' love energy into our ceremony.  in honor of their friend.  I cannot imagine a more profound occurrence.  Our meeting, our discussions, our second “missed” meeting and follow through.  This will be a defining experience for Puerto Penasco, the Live H20 Event and myself.

If spirit wants PP in this event – at a macro level – we may now have the team to do it.  NOT from PP but from Phoenix.    Go figure.

That is pretty much where we are not mentioning the progress with the World Peace Posse Cafe and Santanas Coffee.   Our package is just about ready as we wait to hear from France as top funding the platform development aspect of our program.

We are trusting that the Phoenix team is going to materialize enabling our vision.

Reported on May 26th 2009 to the organizi9ng team and support players.

As an amazing side bar – I just noticed my cell phones (2)  were stolen.  I used to be addicted to carrying at least one –  it took over four weeks for me to notice they were gone.  That is quite a demonstration of transformative experience and not as painful as one might imagine..

Also to report – the Fire and Ice Wisdom Event had its funding pulled.  That ceremony will go ahead – but much like ours – if we build ours – we can feed Uncles' Greenland event in July.

The fires from our Puerto Penasco  event will go to Greenland in July .

We all will fly on the “Wings of the Eagle and the Condor” and the meaning of their coming together.  Said so by all caring souls – Unity.

WE THE PEOPLE OF EARTH OF ONE HEART ANND MIND, JOINING TOGETHER, OPEN OURSEVES TO THE POWER OF LOVE AND TRUTH.

“The Eagle and the Condor coming together symbolizes the soul connection between all of us.”
