The World Peace Posse is intended to be an organically growing, grass roots movement – associated with the main protocols for survival on our home planet. Available are educational materials accumulated over 18 years of research in the field of Global Education, Peace Education, conflict resolution, diversity education, and follows the development of international Standards, in business and a belief that all organizations, including the United Nations need to consider education in COMMON CORE Curricula and values.

There are FIVE Main Programs for International Consumption: Th Millennium Development Goals (MDG'S) (2001), The United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) (2003), The Earth Charter (EC) (1991-2000+), the Consumer protection Act (1985) of the United Nations, and the ISO 26000 Standard for Corporate Social Responsibility. These universally applicable programs require immediate implementation and that is the role of the World Peace Posse. COMMON CORE CURRICULUM for corporations.

The homeplanet alliance is formed with a view to converting the energy of the implementation strategy into economic development and a sustainable business model – moving out of the current field of philanthropic giving (called organized begging). It should be noted that the ISO 26000 Standard does NOT address the notion of giving to the community – our business model does - sustainably.

Peace Posse Cafe

The Peace Posse cafe is a communications tool for the Peace Posse.

There are several kinds of Peace Posse Cafes – and each will have its own “value” Beginning with an individual at the economic low end – to an establishment that can deliver real time TV of International Broadcasting with a view to educating and sharing knowledge and wisdom.

We are envisioning outlets participating from a “sponsoring” retailer – whether it be a Starbucks, another food chain, or even a bookstore. It can be in a community Center even.

The Cafe requires: a SIGN indicating it is a Peace Posse Cafe, at least one table – with a Homeplanet Chessboard, high speed internet capacity , with video cam, headphones, computer and a reasonable size TV Video Screen/monitor. There is no minimum standard established yet as we learn the functionality of the systems.

Any outlet can be considered to be a “homeplanet peace Posse Cafe” It requires one person taking responsibility for the Cafe. The Cafe for all intents and purposes is a Broadcast/ Web casting Facility.

Using a variety of technologies people will be able to use this communication network to share with others what they know.

We can Broadcast Live Events of any nature supporting our agenda for peace, sharing, and education.

Listings of our Network will be identified as we develop the facilities. We had hoped to integrate with the AOND network and this may be in the future depending upon how they fulfill their vision/mission.

We will be actively engaged with Teachers without Borders Canada, Global Dialog Foundation Australia, and other networks involved in the process of Transformational Change.
