Greetings to participants in the Recent World Wisdom Council events in Toronto. I am writing to share with this group my intentions realized and partially realized during this conference. My primary purpose in attending this event was to deliver a message from the United Indians on behalf of Phil Lane Jr., "Uncle" and the First Nations Indigenous Trust. This was accomplished in an informal meeting with the World Wisdom Council on Wednesday eventing and followed up with an - e-mail to Ashok Gangadean. contents reviewable at: Presentation : http://www.homeplanet.org/wwc.html Fourth Way Document: http://www.homeplanet.org/fw/fway.doc My second intention was to instigate the development of an organism within either the World Wisdom Council, or the World Wisdom Alliance that would be an advisory body for the "Spend and control" function for resources for the First Nations Indigenous Trust as generated by the TOPS (the One percent solution program) Details at: http://www.homeplanet.org/hpa_1percent.asp I presented in a totally informal manner to Ervin Laszlo and to the #3 summarizing group of the World Wisdom Alliance. A change of words to be " Spend and Account" was suggested and informally adopted.. Along with this information I suggested that the WCC and or the WWA might use this body as a revenue generator by hiring out this capacity of monitoring effective use of resources to the business community - in particular it may be good to look at the Gates - Buffett alliance and determine how they might more effectively spend funds. Certainly they are one opportunity - whether or not we have the clout to get their attention is another matter. But my intention is to have such a working group of Advisers determined to consider being the advisor Group to the First Nations Indigenous Trust - the receiving organization of the 1% Solution.. In short I am assuming I have accomplished my two objectives in attending this event. But still need confirmation from a number of people as to a next step in the process. As a bonus I left the event carrying 300 ml of water from 50? countries that I will take to Spirit Island for ceremonial purposes. I will water the Tree of Peace that was planted here last October in a ceremony that was attended by quite a number of people who also happened to be at this WCC event. The ceremony will take place on Sunday July 30 as part of my usual Sunday Ceremony on Spirit Island. I also reinvigorated relationships with people that I met during my 1000 day voyage - Nina Lynn Meyerhoff (Children of the earth), Jonathan Granoff (Global Security Institute), Diane Williams (World Peace and Prayer Society), Father Terry Galagher ( Scarboro Mission) Uncle Lybernth Angaangaq and his wife Sinnika, Diane Marshal ( SIRMIQ AATTUQ), Gary Davis (World Citizens) as well as meeting some new people whom I am including in this e-mailing. Honouring one of my teachers Don Toppin who always said that these kind of meetings are more for the Diads and Triads that evolve through the Conference that give the conference its deeper meanings. In his memory I mention the following short meetings that took place for me - beginning with a necessary healing meeting orchestrated by Lyn Holden between David Woolfson and myself. we have a history that still requires more work to heal fully. And then there were: One of my first meetings was a chance encounter with Marilyn Hamilton a "Meshworker". Our exchange did not have a full blossoming as we were both moving from place to place. Certainly in exploring the Integral City.com I can see many areas of collaboration in the future. Elisabet Sahtouris: I had talked with her on the phone previously and I mentioned how we need to develop support systems for some of the great women of the world - in particular Jean Houston, Barbara Marx Hubbard, and Hazel Henderson. Elisabet mentioned that she is involved with a group of five that included these three great ladies - I did not note the fourth ladies name - however the group is identified as Sophia - I think - and I suggested that we might look to have the TOPS program support the development of Sophia as an advisory group to the TOPS program in order that TOPS might support Sophia. I think this needs to be followed up concretely. Michael Ben-Eli: He made a presentation on sustainability and while his language is not aligned with our own, there are sufficient connections of understanding that I suggested that Michael become involved with the Institute for Global Accountants as a professor /presenter. We will explore how his skills and talents might work with the development of our Sustainability Course and the development of the Corporate Social Responsibility Certificate Program of the IGA. Peter Okilo: He made a terrific presentation on the Peoples World Ltd - an Internet delivery system that integrates business and social awareness. His model is the most sophisticated that I have seen to date, and I have not been able to verify its capacities yet, but if what is represented is real, there is a great opportunity to utilize technology to serve the greater good. I feel there is a distinction in our understanding of Corporate Philanthropy which I believe the 1% solution creates. Perhaps we will be able to integrate our activities. It is not clear at this moment. Saul Arbess: Working group for a Department of Peace. We had a number of little exchanges looking at how the Kucinich process of 1% relates to the TOPS program. I have agreed to establish a Toronto Group for a Department of Peace if the Department of Peace looks to endorse and support the TOPS program. I hate making conditional offers, but I cannot dilute my energies. Organizations that do not support TOPS get none of our attention or funds generated by TOPS. This is a critical understanding and has escaped even my close friends. Rav Michael Laitman: Rabbi, & Author. World leading Kabbalist, This was the shortest of meetings as Rabbi does not speak English. He referred me to Avihu Safer his General Manager. Notwithstanding the brevity of this meeting, I sensed the largeness of this man. The energy he carries is immense and from all the Spiritual Elders that I have met over the past ten years I must say this was an important meeting feeling, connection. I trust my intuition is correct. Avihu Sofer: Managing Director of the Ashlag Research Institute. Rabbi Laitman suggested that I talk with Avihu, and we had only a short conversation with a view to connecting through this medium. I believe our working together will make more sense after we have developed our capacity to link television and the Internet. ( a process I am currently engaged in) or look to bring the 1% solution through his network. Hiroo Saionji: Goi Peace Foundation. and Ashok Gangadean: Global Dialogue Institute: A very short meeting during which I spoke more than listened as was the situation. I intended to spend more time learning of their specific initiatives but did not have the opportunity as they were very involved in the process and our connecting was more on a non physical level of communication. I felt strongly that our goals and missions are similar and look forward to meeting and talking in a more meaningful way in the future. The same can be said of a short meeting with Nancy Roof of Kosmos Magazine. Gary Davis: Just a short meeting mentioning that I have been waiting to hear from David Gallup of the World Service Authority to integrate a Passport with his organization and Spirit Island. I am not sure that Gary hears me, and if you know Gary you will know what I mean. My very short meeting with and Ervin Laszlo ( Club of Budapest) was encouraging as I presented to him the notion of developing the Spend and Control Function Committee. His response was very positive and we will look forward to learning what this means. And of course there were a number of other meetings and exchanges that may have an effect on our lives. Old friend Roxanna and her lovely daughter Olivia, Neil from the Water Ceremony, Brigitte (an angel), Rasha (a Spirit woman), Christopher, Heather (facilitator), Ruth (the great laugh at the front desk), The water connects all of us and as we recognize the importance of this connection our processes will flow like the water and contribute to the healing of the planet and ourselves.
